Application

The first step to receiving the Buchanan Promise is to complete the Promise Eligibility Application during your senior year of high school. This application opens in January and is used to determine your eligibility.

Current Promise students are required to complete the renewal application each year in order to continue to receive Promise funds. More information including the renewal application can be found below.

High School Seniors

Step 1

Your first step to receiving the Buchanan Promise is to complete the Eligibility Application found below. This application is to be completed during your senior year and is required to determine whether you are eligible to receive the Buchanan Promise Scholarship.

Step 2

Once you are deemed eligible to receive the Buchanan Promise, you will receive a letter in the mail with instructions to complete your Buchanan Promise Pledge. This is where you will indicate whether or not you intend to use your Promise funds immediately following graduation or if you intend to defer your award until a later date. Failure to complete this step will result in your Promise Funds being revoked. Please see our handbook or contact us for any questions you may have.

How to Renew

Students are required to complete the renewal process each school year to continue receiving your Buchanan Promise Scholarship. When renewing, you must upload your most recent transcript and your upcoming class schedule or tuition statement.
